Black Market — added in Update 5.0

Build the Pyramid! Black Market, Restocks & Potions

Update 5.0 added a shop that does not hold still: the Black Market restocks on the hour, prints what is left beside every item, and sells out of the good rows long before the next one. This page covers how the cycle works, what one restock actually carried, what each potion tier does, and which rows you should not plan on buying late.

It restocks every hour, and the game counts it down

The studio’s own Update 5.0 note says “Black Market with hourly restocks”, and the hotfix added the clock you watch in game. The stock page the studio links printed Restocks in 33:49 when this page was read on October 25, 2026, with Last updated 26s ago beside it.

The Secret pet is capped at three copies

Grim Reaper, the one Secret row in the restock read here, showed 0 / 3 left. Three copies for the whole restock is the smallest cap on the board, so this is the row to be early for — and the reason a Secret is not something you can decide to buy at your own pace.

How one restock cycle runs

Four things happen on a loop, and the studio announced them in two posts a night apart. Update 5.0 introduced the market with hourly restocks. The hotfix that followed added the in-game restock timer, pushed a restock announcement into chat, rebalanced the stock toward more potions, and opened a Discord channel that posts each restock. The same hotfix added a setting to hide those chat announcements, so a quiet chat does not mean a quiet market.

  1. Pick up the @Restock role in the studio’s Discord to be pinged the moment stock turns over.
  2. Watch the in-game timer the hotfix added, or the restock message in the #black-market-restock channel.
  3. Buy the row you came for first: the caps are per restock, and the cheap rows disappear fastest.
  4. If a row reads 0 / N left, that restock is finished for that item; nothing adds stock back before the next one.

The restock read for this page went live at 05:00 UTC on October 25, 2026. Twenty-six minutes later every pet and every potion row already read zero left, while all three maze hints still had stock: 33,529 of 35,000 on Hint I, 20,238 of 21,000 on Hint II and 4,727 of 7,000 on Hint IV. That split is the useful part of the snapshot — pets and potions are contested, hints are not.

Where the market stands in the world is not stated on any surface read for this page: the same update note lists the Demon Lord’s Castle and the market as two separate additions, so this page does not claim the market is inside the castle.

The stock one restock carried

Read October 25, 2026 at 05:26Z

Nine rows, in the table the owner-linked wiki prints. Two things are deliberately missing from these cards: the price carries no currency word on either surface read here, and the pet rows print no per-unit multiplier, so neither is filled in. A number you can check against your own balances is better than one this page guessed at.

What the potions do, and how the tiers compare

Update 5.0 lists three potion families — Luck, Speed and Currency — and this restock happened to carry only Currency and Luck rows. The row label states the effect, which makes the tiers comparable without a wiki: Currency Potion I reads 1.15× currency and Currency Potion V reads 3.25× currency, so tier V multiplies your earnings by far more than tier I does, and it costs 60,000 against 100.

The Luck row states a flat number instead of a multiple: Luck Potion I · +0.5 hatch luck, at the same 100 as the currency potion. That is the same unit the wiki the studio links from its own Discord uses for hatch luck, where it lists the Jack character at +0.5 and the paid hatch passes at +1, +3 and +7. So one Luck Potion I carries about as much hatch luck as swapping Jack into your character slot.

What no surface read here states is how long a potion lasts and how many you can stack. The hotfix only says potion timers moved above Friend Boost on the screen, which proves a timer exists without giving its length. Buy one and read your own timer rather than planning a stack this page cannot size.

The maze hints reveal a percentage, not a map

The update names a Gravekeeper’s Maze and tells you to find it. The market sells items called Maze Hint whose own labels say how much of the maze they reveal: Hint I 0.25%, Hint II 0.5% and Hint IV 1.5%. So the top row here is six times the reveal of the cheapest one, for 75,000 against 1,000.

Read that percentage literally before you spend: if one hint reveals a quarter of one percent, a single purchase will not show you the exit. The hints are the one section that still had stock half an hour into the restock, so you are not competing for them the way you are for a Secret pet.

Those counters are live. A second read three minutes after the first showed Hint I down 347 copies (33,529 to 33,182), Hint II down 75 and Hint IV down 272, while every pet and potion row still read zero left. So the market is a shared shelf that empties as people buy, not a personal shop that refills for you.

Nothing read here says a hint is consumed on use, whether the revealed part stays revealed, or whether hints from several players pool. This page keeps those open rather than guessing.

The one rule that can cost you Robux

The hotfix post states that secrets can no longer be bought from the Black Market for Robux once stock is out, and that copies already bought that way will not count toward the game-wide totals. In the studio’s own words that was “a bad call on my end” because it “would have ruined values”. The practical version: a Secret you see in the market is worth having while the row still has stock, because the Robux shortcut is gone the moment it reads zero.

What this page does not claim

  • Which currency the printed prices are charged in. Neither the stock table nor the restock message prints a currency word, and one price in it reads 2,500,000,000, so this page does not attach a guess to it.
  • The full item pool. Nine rows from one restock are nine rows, not the list of everything the market can sell.
  • How long a potion lasts, how many stack, or how a maze hint is consumed.
  • Which server’s purchases your row reflects. The table the studio publishes is one global list and it fell while this page watched it, but nothing read here says whether a buy on another server empties the row in front of you.
  • Where the market stands in the world, or whether the Demon Lord’s Castle holds it.

Black Market questions players actually ask

How often does the Black Market restock?

Every hour, in the studio’s own wording, and the game now shows a countdown to the next one. The hotfix also announces each restock in chat and posts it to a Discord channel, so you do not have to sit in the world watching a timer.

Why is everything sold out?

Because the caps are per restock and small. In the snapshot read here the Secret pet had three copies for the whole hour, each Legendary and Exclusive pet had 2,500, the two tier-I potions 45,000 apiece and Currency Potion V only 6,000. Stock does not trickle back in; it resets at the next restock.

Should I buy the cheap potion or save for a high tier?

Compare the printed effects, not the tier numbers: Currency Potion I is 1.15× for 100, Currency Potion V is 3.25× for 60,000. Tier V pays about 2.8 times as much multiplier for 600 times the price, so it only pays off while you are earning at a rate this page cannot see. If your balance is small, the low tier is the one you can actually test the timer with.

Can I still buy a Secret pet with Robux?

Not once its row is out of stock — the hotfix removed that path, and says purchases made through it will not count toward the game-wide totals. Treat the printed price beside the Secret row as the only way in.
