Build the Pyramid Upgrades & Buy Order
This game has two separate upgrade currencies, and they are easy to confuse. Coins pay for the three lines in the UPGRADES tab on your HUD. Robux buys gym passes that skip the pyramid requirements you would otherwise finish for free. This page covers the order the published numbers support, and says plainly which parts of it are unverified.
The short answer
- Spend your first Coins on the three UPGRADES lines. The first step of all three is cheap — the readout below totals 125 Coins for one step in each line — and every step raises what a single grab or a single placement moves.
- Save Coins for the gym ladder in between. Higher gym tiers are earned by completing pyramids with your server, not bought with Coins, so Coins never compete with the multiplier ladder.
- If you are buying Robux passes, buy the biggest skip you can afford. Priced per pyramid skipped, the 100x gym pass is the cheapest of the eight published skips (R$10.99 per pyramid) and the 5x gym pass is the dearest (R$33.00). The table below is that division, nothing more.
Coins: the three lines in the UPGRADES tab
The panel carries three lines. Each one changes a different part of a single action, and all three are paid in Coins — the counter that sits beside the tabs and that code redemptions also pay into.

Why these three come first: they multiply what one action does. Carrying two blocks per grab or dropping two per placement effectively halves the trips for the same monument progress, which is the only thing the gym multipliers amplify. Panel readout dated September 19, 2026. The training page carries the full raw readout of every step that was visible, including the steps whose labels we could not reconcile. This page only prices the first step of each line, because that is the part the readout states consistently.
Free first: the pyramid gates behind every gym tier
Gym tiers are unlocked by finishing pyramids with your server, and the pass descriptions published by Janitors Studios name the requirement each pass skips. That is where these gate numbers come from.

Nothing about this ladder costs Coins, which is why saving Coins for the UPGRADES lines costs you no multiplier progress. The game pass directory lists every pass with its official description.
Robux: what each gym skip costs per pyramid
Divide the listed price by the requirement the pass description says it skips and the eight gym skips stop looking alike. This column is arithmetic on two official numbers — the price and the requirement — not a tested grind estimate, and it ignores how long any individual pyramid takes.

One thing this table cannot tell you: whether a higher pass also grants the tiers below it. The pass descriptions name a single requirement each, and the studio has not published how the unlocks stack, so nobody should read this as “the 100x pass replaces the 2x pass”. If you own none of them, check the live store page in-game before spending.
New in the pass list: Sun God
The public Roblox game-pass endpoint for this game returned a tenth listing on September 30, 2026, named Sun God, with the studio's own display description: “4x pyramids, ultra-quick grab and ultra-quick place.”
- It cannot be bought: the listing reports isForSale: false and no price.
- The endpoint dates the listing itself: created 2026-09-29T23:48:48Z, last updated 2026-09-30T00:19:41Z.
- There is no announcement for it in the sources this site can read, and nothing in the game's code list refers to it. Whether it ships, and at what price, is unannounced.
If it does ship, its description puts it above the Pharaoh pass on pyramid output (4x against 2x) and adds faster grabbing and placing — the same two actions the Coins lines above upgrade. Treat it as announced-not-released until it appears in the store at a price.
What this page does not claim
- No benchmarked “best” build: the order above follows from prices and gates we could read, not from a run we timed.
- No Coin costs past the first step of each UPGRADES line, because the panel readout does not label the higher steps consistently.
- No claim about how pass tiers stack, or whether a higher pass unlocks the tiers below it.
- No income estimate: how fast you earn Coins depends on your server, your blocks per action and your stats.

What should I upgrade first in Build the Pyramid!?
The Coins lines, because they are cheap and permanent: Placement Range costs 25 Coins for its first step, Bulk Pickup and Bulk Place 50 Coins each. Gym tiers need pyramids rather than Coins, so the two never compete for the same currency.
Is the 100x gym pass worth it?
Priced per pyramid skipped it is the cheapest published skip (R$10.99 per pyramid) and the 5x gym pass is the dearest (R$33.00). Whether the grind it removes is worth your Robux is a judgement this page deliberately leaves to you.
Do Coins buy gym multipliers?
No. Gym tiers unlock from completed pyramids with your server, or from a Robux pass that skips the requirement. Coins only buy the three lines in the UPGRADES tab.
What is the Sun God pass?
A tenth listing in the game's public pass endpoint, read on September 30, 2026 and described by the studio as “4x pyramids, ultra-quick grab and ultra-quick place.”. It is not for sale and has no price, so it is an unannounced listing rather than a purchasable pass.

Something here wrong or out of date? The studio changes prices and adds passes without warning, so Sun God in particular may be outdated the moment it goes on sale. Corrections go through the contact page.
