Gym Training, Stats & Multiplier Tiers
Everything about physical training in Build the Pyramid! on Roblox: which gym stations raise Walk Speed and Carry Capacity, how the 2x to 100x gym multiplier tiers unlock, and observed player ranks.
The Three Core Character Stats
In-game HUD displays three main attributes that govern your construction efficiency:
Walk Speed
Determines how fast your avatar moves across the sand while carrying blocks from the quarry to the pyramid.
Carry Capacity
Dictates how many masonry blocks you can carry in a single trip. Cuts total round-trips needed per session.
Strength
Overall muscular strength rating displayed on HUD. Required to haul heavier masonry slabs smoothly.
The GYM and UPGRADES Tabs on Your HUD
The top-left HUD carries two tabs: GYM and UPGRADES. GYM holds the training stations covered above. The UPGRADES tab is where blocks-per-action upgrades sit, and it arrived with the game's September 19, 2026 update — the same update after which the game's Roblox title reads [UPGRADES] Build the Pyramid!. The tab charges Coins, so the counter beside it is your upgrade budget: check what more blocks per grab and per place do to your delivery rate.
Coins pay for these three lines; gym tiers are unlocked by completed pyramids or skipped with a Robux pass, so the two currencies never compete. The upgrade order page works out what that means for the order you should spend in.
| Panel element | Readout, September 19, 2026 recording |

What the Three UPGRADES lines do and cost
Panel readout, September 19, 2026 recording| Upgrade | What it changes | Steps read off the panel | Coins per step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bulk Pickup | Blocks lifted by one grab. | Lv.0 — "1 Blocks Per Grab" → Lv.1 — 2 Blocks Per Grab → Lv.2 — 3 Blocks Per Grab | Lv.0 → Lv.1: 50 CoinsLv.2 → Lv.3: 850 Coins |
| Bulk Place | Blocks moved by one placement. | Lv.0 — "1 Blocks Per Place" → Lv.1 — 2 Blocks Per Place | Lv.0 → Lv.1: 50 CoinsLv.1 → Lv.2: 300 Coins |
| Placement Range | How far from the block stack you can place. | Lv.1 — +10% Place Range → Lv.2 — +20% Place Range | Lv.0 → Lv.1: 25 CoinsLv.2 → Lv.3: 425 Coins |
The panel also shows a Robux option beside the Coins price on the first step of Bulk Pickup and Bulk Place, read at R$25. Whether that Robux price stays at R$25 on later steps was not shown. Coins are what the UPGRADES tab charges and what the FREECODE code pays out, so the counter beside the tabs is your upgrade budget.
Live caveat, September 23, 2026: the developer said in the studio's own Discord server that placing blocks is currently slower, and the placement range smaller, than intended, and that both will be fixed in the next update. Re-checked September 25, 2026: the official game API still carried September 22, 2026 as the last update, and no newer build note had appeared in that Discord, so the fix had not shipped at that point. Update, September 25, 2026: the developer posted Update 1.5.1 in that Discord, calling it a bunch of fixes to make building smoother and noting that a hotfix only applies in new servers. That is the next update the September 23 note pointed to, but the post does not name placement speed or range, so nothing here says the slowdown and the shorter reach are gone. Re-read September 27, 2026: the official game API now dates this universe's last update to September 25, 2026 at 06:53 UTC, roughly thirteen minutes after that post, so 1.5.1 is the build the API carried at that point. A build timestamp dates a release; it does not say what changed inside it. Re-read October 1, 2026: the API now carries 2026-10-01T08:58:36Z, a newer build than the one that post announced, and the studio's Discord could not be read that day — so nothing here says what changed in it and nothing here says the placement slowdown or the shorter reach are gone. Until your own placement in a server started after October 1 reads normal, the Bulk Place and Placement Range rows above buy less than their effects column implies.
What these rows do and do not establish
These are prices read off one account's panel on September 19, 2026, not a published price list. They show that the UPGRADES tab charges Coins, the three upgrade lines it contains, and the cost of the steps listed. They do not establish the cost of the steps not read, or whether a later update changed any figure. The ceiling those lines climb to is printed by the game itself and is quoted in the next section.
The same session reads Walk Speed 16 and Capacity 0/1 near the start, and a Capacity cap of 0/32 further in. Those are two readouts from two moments, so treat them as a range rather than fixed starting values.
Where to read your own numbers
Open the UPGRADES tab in your own session. That panel is the authority for your account: it lists the upgrade names, their current levels and their prices for the version you are playing. Values quoted on this page can lag a live panel after any further update.
What the same panel reads at Lv.9 and up
Panel readout, October 14, 2026 recordingThe three lines do not stop at their first steps, and the Coins price beside a step climbs with the level. A recording published October 14, 2026 shows the same panel with its rows at the levels below:
| Upgrade | Level in that frame | Effect printed beside it | Coins for the next step | Robux option |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bulk Pickup | Lv.10 | 11 Blocks Per Grab | 3,170,000 | R$280 |
| Bulk Place | Lv.9 | 10 Blocks Per Place | 1,130,000 | R$280 |
| Placement Range | Lv.12 | +120% Place Range | 5,400,000 | R$160 |
The ceiling above those rows moved on October 24, 2026, and both readings are worth keeping because they disagree. The game’s own UPDATE LOG window, entry named Pets, version V3.0, dated October 11, 2026, printed “Max upgrade level is now 24.” The studio’s own Update 5.0 post in its Discord, dated October 24, 2026, lists “Max upgrades are now 30”. This page keeps the newer figure and the older one side by side, because the same 5.1 note says only Halloween World servers were restarted and desert servers may still be running the older build. Neither line is a schedule: neither says what the steps between these levels cost, and Update 5.0 pairs its ceiling with “Fixed lots of other bugs.” without naming them.
Both bodies of figures are dated readings, not a price list. The rows above are two frames of one account’s panel, one session, October 14, 2026. They do not give the price of the unread steps, and they do not make the Robux figure fixed: it read R$25 on the first steps of Bulk Pickup and Bulk Place in the September 19, 2026 readout and reads R$280 at the levels above. What holds on any version is the panel in front of you — it prints the price for your next step before you pay it, and it prints the level you are standing on.
Verified Gym Stations
The gym is located directly adjacent to the pyramid construction zone. In recorded gameplay, the creator demonstrates the training stations and explains their purpose:
Electric Treadmill (Running Station)
Trains: Walk SpeedIncreases movement speed while hauling stone blocks from quarry to pyramid.
Arm Strength Weights
Trains: Capacity (Block Payload)Directly increases how many stone blocks your character can lift and carry in a single trip.
Strength Bench Press
Trains: StrengthOverall character strength displayed on the HUD. Helps lift heavier masonry.
The Gym Multiplier Ladder
Corroborated by official game pass descriptions (re-read September 24, 2026) and in-game multiplier panel.
As you complete pyramids with your server, you permanently unlock higher multiplier gyms. These gyms amplify your stat gains per training rep:
What a tier actually changes at the station
In the world each station carries its own multiplier label, and that label is the multiple applied to the gain per training tick. In the September 19, 2026 recording the stations marked FREE were producing +1 pop-ups while the player had no completed pyramid, and the station marked 2x displayed “Requirement: 1 Pyramid” and produced +2 pop-ups once that player's pyramid counter read 1.
| Station | Gain per training tick | Player state in that frame |
|---|---|---|
| FREE base station | +1 | No pyramid completed yet (counter 0) |
| Station labelled 2x | +2 | After the counter read 1 completed pyramid |
Station labels seen in that recording include FREE, 2x, 3x, 5x, with further higher-labelled stations elsewhere in the same gym. The completed pyramid's interior carries the same kind of marker. The completed pyramid interior carries a 2X TRAINING INSIDE marker, and the pool inside it is signed WATERS OF NU and carries a multiplier banner of its own: in the October 14, 2026 recording that banner read "2x Your Best Gym" in one frame and "10x Your Best Gym" later in the same session, next to +32,000 strength pop-ups. Two boundaries are worth keeping: the numbers above are one session's readouts and not a published gain formula, and the studio's pass descriptions and the in-world labels are separate surfaces, so whether every label maps one-to-one onto a pass tier is not established. Read the label on the station you are standing at.
Player Ranks & Titles
During gameplay capture, specific rank titles appear above character avatars and on the HUD. The full rank hierarchy is not yet published by the studio. These titles have been read:
Visible on player HUD during initial quarry hauling and early gym training.
Observed above the recording player once their pyramid counter read 1, in the same session that began at level 1 with no pyramids completed. The counter value on the other titles is not established.
Read above another player in the interior training pool, in the same frame as HIGH PRIEST and TITAN.
Read above a second player in that pool. Which counter value this title starts at is not established.
Read above a third player in that pool. Which counter value this title starts at is not established.
Read above the recording player while the counter carried by that avatar read 38. Whether a title comes from that counter, from time played or from something else is not established.
Read above the player the recording follows, with the same counter reading 54. The recording shows that counter moving down later in the session, so the counter and the title are not read here as one number.
